GOE HDTV is the leading Italian co-producer and distributor of high quality hd programming.

GOE HDtv was founded in 2004 with the objective of producing the first tv series in full HD about Italy: Magnifica Italia. Shot with Wescam technology with spectacular aerial views of Italy from above this high quality travel series has attracted much attention and appreciation from the most renowned Italian and international networks. Mediaset, Discovery Channel and PBS, to quote just a few, have successfully broadcast Magnifica Italia on televisions worldwide. The successful and high rating series Magnifica Italia has been produced in three seasons for a total of 56 episodes of 26 minutes each, covering the whole of Italy from above and ground, including the less known and unusual landscapes.

The arrival of the new management in 2007 in the person of Filippo Mori Ubaldini, former Discovery Italy Country Manager, alongside with a young experienced and motivated team has started a new season for GOE HDtv.

The Italian HD specialist has in fact become a major player in the world of international distribution thanks among others to the acquisition of prime catalogues like ORF and BETA.

Thanks to a strong investment in both high value co-productions and notorious catalogue acquisitions GOE has gradually built up a portfolio of over 2.000 hours of high quality content. With titles ranging from Nature to Science, Travel to Food and Lifestyle, GOE has put a special focus on exporting the best of “Made in Italy”: from Design to Fashion and Cars.

In order to increase further its global expansion Goe has developed a highly organized network of local distributors to cover the global tv marketplace: from Europe to Middle East, Far East and North America.
Among GOE's major feats is the widespread kiosk distribution of Magnifica Italia whose dvds have been vehiculated by Italy's major newspaper Corriere della Sera.

In July 2009 a film containing the best of Magnifica Italia has been shown at the G8 in L'Aquila, Italy, and has been donated as a special gift to all the Heads of Governments present, including US President Barack Obama.

And this is just the beginning for GOE, who is already thinking ahead with new formats and co-productions focussing on Italy but not only to respond to the demand of high quality HD programming by traditional free tv broadcasters as well as new media players.

New projects are also underway to face the ever changing media world and to cater for the new platforms with their needs of digital broadcasting and interactive content: from IPTV to DTT, WebTV and MobTV.
